I'm a bit late on this post for our new challenge this week at Tuesday Throwdown. I've been on a small camping vacation this past weekend and it's taking me a little bit to get back adjusted and into my groove :)
This week our challenge is doodling! Now...for my card I didn't want to just do little stitching around the edge like I do on so many of my cards. I wanted to really pull out the doodling. This card took me awhile to work out in my head, and while it doesn't have very many elements, it took quite a bit of time to complete :)
Sweating You from Saturated Canary. A bit of the image has been cut out to fit in the small circle. I colored her all in with my pencils and then added some glitter to the hearts, her sweat drop, and her hair. Then put some clear gems around the scallop frame that was cut from my Lacy Labels cartridge.
Around the doodling I added some blue gel pen dots to help pull that blue into the rest of the card.
Like I said...my doodling could use some work...and maybe a different style would have been better for this card...but I love it just the same :)
Be sure to stop by and play along with us! Or just check out the DT's fabulous work!
